Minor Updates to All Products
We've just released minor updates to all shareware products, including ShellToys XP. These updates fix a compatibility issue with Intel® Pentium® 4 Hyper-Threading processors in which applications could crash on startup.
NEW! Sourcery
Sourcery is a View Source alternative for Internet Explorer. As well as displaying the source of the current page, Sourcery's unique Resources menu provides one-click links to any framed pages, external scripts and style sheets it contains - perfect when a 'no-right-click' script prevents you from viewing the contents of a frame or IFRAME. Sourcery also makes it possible to edit live pages and send the result back into the window or frame for previewing.
NEW! Color Manager
The easy way to store and work with colors. Color Manager provides 4 color-management tools in one easy-to-use utility: Color Translator translates color references between 5 common formats including RGB and hex, and finds web-safe equivalents; Pixel Grabber makes it easy to grab the color of any on-screen pixel; Web Colors provides easy access to the 140 named HTML colors. And at the heart of Color Manager is Color Groups: create named groups of colors used in your web sites or graphics projects and add descriptions to help you remember how each color is used.
CodeWorks 2.0
Most web designers use JavaScript, PHP, ASP or CSS in addition to HTML, and many programmers work in a variety of languages - Visual Basic, C#, Java, Pascal. And everyone gathers functions, routines, code snips and tips they want to reuse. CodeWorks provides a powerful system to manage code samples for all your languages in a simple compact interface. Among the new features in v2.0, CodeWorks now allows you to store your saved data in any folder you like, and to open collections of code samples stored in any folder, including folders elsewhere on your LAN.
StylePad 1.4
StylePad's unique approach to CSS makes working with style sheets a simple click-and-preview process. New features in v1.4 include a dialog to simplify the settings of borders and outlines, and an optional advanced color dialog that supports web-safe colors, HTML named colors, and color references entered in hex format.
WebPad 2.5
WebPad is a deceptively simple HTML editor for web designers who like to keep control of their pages (typically Notepad users), providing powerful features to help you get the HTML onto the page without getting in your way. This minor update provides a few new features, bug fixes and interface improvements.
Coda 1.3
Coda is an advanced programming editor featuring syntax highlighting for 11 different programming & scripting languages, and many powerful features to help you work faster. This update adds a range of new features including a color picker, color translator, and line-sorting options, along with a few interface enhancements.
Editor 2.0
This multiple-document text editor rivals Notepad for speed, but provides a range of useful extra features, including multi-language spell checking. This new version adds a range of new formatting options, along with redesigned windows, menus and dialogs.
New registration system and licensing terms
At the same time as making the updates above, we've also altered our licensing terms for shareware applications. A single license now allows a product to be used on one computer: for use on multiple computers, a license must be purchased for each computer.
