To open an image, double-click in the HotShot window. For a wide range of options, right-click and you'll see the menu in the screenshot. From here you can copy an image to the clipboard or a different folder, run a slideshow of images in the current folder, select a different folder for a slideshow, or view the next or previous image in the current folder. As the screenshot shows, HotShot displays the dimensions of the current image in its titlebar.

| HotShot also lets you create a list of applications you use for viewing or editing images. Right-click inside the HotShot window and choose Open With, then select the application you want to open the current image into for editing.
|
Rather than starting HotShot from its Start menu icon, just right-click a folder to automatically launch a slideshow of the images in the folder. (At any time during the slideshow you can cancel, pause, backtrack, or switch to a 'manual' slideshow.)
