What information do we need to process an order and how do we use it?
When you order, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to quickly process and fulfill your orders. We maintain a private database of customers and sales which enables us to provide the highest levels of service and support quickly and efficiently. To protect ourselves against credit-card fraud, we also read your IP address when you send an order.
How does CFi protect customer information?
When you place an order, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts the credit-card information you provide before sending it to us. Our industry-standard SSL is the most widely-accepted form of encryption for online transactions. All of the customer data we collect is stored away from the Internet and protected against unauthorized access.
Does CFi use cookies?
CFi uses one cookie to track the items in your shopping cart. This cookie is created when you arrive at this site and expires 20 minutes after you leave. It contains a visitor-reference number generated at random by the server which associates you with a numbered 'shopping cart' at the server. It does not contain any other information about you or the pages you visit at this site.
During the checkout process, you can choose to have your contact details (not your credit card details) stored in a cookie to speed up the checkout process on future visits. This is an 'opt-in' feature: these details are not stored unless you check the appropriate box. Cookies are not used for any other purpose at this site.
Will CFi disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
CFi does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others, and is strongly opposed to this practice. However, CFi may provide these details when required to do so by law enforcement agencies or in cases of dispute over payment.
